PaperTrail: Android testers wanted: ask your research papers anything, 100% on-device

PaperTrail lets you ask your research papers anything: summaries, methods, findings, definitions. The AI runs entirely on your phone, so your papers are never uploaded anywhere. Great for unpublished work, theses and anything you'd rather keep private. How to join (Android, 2 steps, use the same Google account for both): 1. Join the tester group: 🔒 Link unlocks after you join 2. Opt in and install: 🔒 Link unlocks after you join What testers do over 14 days (a few short sessions is plenty): - Load 2–3 research papers or PDFs you're working with - Ask questions about them: summaries, methods, key findings - Try a paper with tables (figures aren't supported yet) - Stay opted in for 14 days (Google requires this before the app can launch publicly) - Share what worked, what was confusing and what you'd want added What you get: early access to PaperTrail and a direct line to the team, so your feedback shapes the app before launch. Requires an Android phone.
